Technology for producing bio-ethanol from ramie lignoellulosic degradation with enzymes

    • After being pretreated on ramie bast fiber by microbial retting, both single factor and multi-factors were experimented during ramie lignocellulosic degrading with enzymes, these influential factors are pH value, concentrations of enzymes and glucose, and methods for material treatment. The results show that, the highest rate of saccharification reaches 72.361% at the beginning of pH 5.0; Within a range of enzymes concentration, the rate of saccharification can be increased with the increase of enzymes; The optimal enzyme concentrations are 5% of xylanase and 10% of cellulase, respectively; The rate of saccharification is not influenced as glucose concentration in the solution of lignocellulosic degrading is below 0.5%, and as over 0.5% of glucose concentration and with the increase of glucose in the solution, the rate of saccharification is decreased; Mechanical treatment on material is beneficial for improving the efficiency of enzymatic degrading. The most optimum conditions for ramie enzymatic lignocellulosic degrading is pH 4.5~5.5, 8%~11% of cellulose concentration, below 0.5% of glucose concentration and treatment of scissorssed and unwatered material.
