    Study on the Process and Phase Equilibrium of Tea Polyphenols (TP) Extraction

    • This paper analyzed ethyl acetatetea polyphenolswater extraction systemThe relation between mixing time and tea polyphenols concentration in extraction phase, the effect of temperature on extraction process and the change pattern of the ratio of the phase equilibrium distribution to the stages of extraction equilibrium were studied with cascade countercurrent extraction methodology. The results show that the main extraction process is mass transport diffusion, its onestage extraction phase equilibrium distribution ratio is 1.6, and the suitable extractionoperatingtemperature was under 15 ℃. Threestage countercurrent extraction technique is suggested in industrial production. 
