Study on Cultivation for Soil Moisture　Conservation During Summer Fallow Period in Dry Land of West Parts of Henan Province

Based on summarizing traditional cultivation experiences for soil moisture conservation and the locating field experiments for many years in the west parts of Henan Province, a cultivation method, that is early deep tillage and early fertilization during summer fallow period once a year, was pointed out in this paper. The productive demonstration in large areas indicated that this cultivation method had obvious effects of precipitation collection, soil moisture conservation and yield raising. 
