Prediction of the Effective Spectrum of Soft Terrain Under Driving Wheel

The authors measured the effective spectrum of soft terrain under a driving wheel by means of the driving measuring equipment for soft terrain roughness. The influence of the factors (such as driving force, unit-pressure on contacting ground and compressivc strength of terrain) on the effective spectrum were analyzed. A prediction equation of the effective spectrum was put forward. Results of the test showed good agreement, with the calculated ones .
