    Calculation and test of electric polarization force for rice seed dielectric separation

    • 摘要: 摘要:种子在电场作用下,会受到电极化力的作用,不同活力的种子介电常数会有差异,受到电极化力的大小也会有差异。通过对双电极不均匀电场条件下水稻种子的静电吸附试验,验证了不同活力种子所受的电极化力的差异。对水稻种子在双导线不均匀电场下的脱落条件进行了分析和计算,确定了水稻种子在双导线间的姿态调整机理及在不同姿态下所受的电极化力的大小。研究为介电式种子分选机的设计奠定了基础。

       

      Abstract: When rice seeds exposed to the electric fields, they will experience the influences of polarization force. In addition, rice seeds with different vitality will pertain different dielectric constants, thus experience different polarization strength. It was verified that the rice seeds with different vitality will suffer with different polarization force through conducting rice seeds electrostatic adsorption test with dual-electrode non-uniform electric field. After analyzing and calculating the falling off conditions when rice seeds exposed to the two-wire non-uniform electric field, we have already known the position adjustment mechanism of rice seeds and the strength of the polarization force, therefore laid a foundation for how to design the dielectric seed sorting machine.
