    Fractal characteristics of soil particle composition for typical types of soil profile on Loess Plateau

    • 摘要: 采集从北向南依次分布的干润砂质新成土(神木)、黄土正常新成土(延安)和土垫旱耕人为土(杨陵)等典型土壤剖面0~200 cm土层土样,通过测定土样颗粒体积分形维数及基本性质,以期阐明黄土高原典型土壤颗粒体积分形特征及其与土壤基本性质间的相关性。结果表明,从南到北,土壤颗粒体积分形维数呈下降趋势,而不同土层土壤颗粒体积分形维数差异不显著。土垫旱耕人为土、黄土正常新成土和干润砂质新成土表层(0~10 cm)颗粒体积分形维数分别为2.723±0.024、2.609±0.077和2.589±0.025,表层以下(10~200 cm)颗粒平均体积分形维数分别为2.729±0.034、2.584±0.054和2.558±0.034;颗粒体积分形维数与<0.01 mm的物理性黏粒及<0.002 mm的黏粒体积百分含量呈极显著正相关关系,与0.002~0.05 mm的粉粒和>0.05 mm的砂粒体积百分含量呈极显著负相关关系,与粉粒的显著性较小,而土壤中物理性黏粒体积百分含量与土壤全氮、有机碳及矿物固定态铵均达到极显著正相关关系,而砂粒体积百分含量与上述土壤基本性质均呈极显著负相关关系。

       

      Abstract: For searching the characteristics of the volume fractal dimension of soil particle on Loess Plateau and the relationship of volume fractal dimension and the main characteristics of soil, three typical types of soils within 0-200 cm depth were collected and tested from north to south on the Loess Plateau. They were Ust-Sandiic Entisols in Shenmu, Los-Orthic-Entisol in Yan’an and Eum-Orthic Anthrosol in Yangling respectively. Some conclusions could be drawn as follows: The volume fractal dimension of soil particle increased from north to south at the same layer and there were no significant differences among different soil layers on the Loess Plateau. The average volume fractal dimensions of soil particle of Eum-Orthic Anthrosol, Los-Orthic-Entisol, Ust-Sandiic Entisols were 2.723±0.024, 2.609±0.077, 2.589±0.025 within 0- 10 cm layer and 2.729±0.034, 2.584±0.054, 2.558±0.034 within 10-200 cm layers respectively. The volume fractal dimension of soil particle had a highly significant positive correlation with the volume percentage of soil physical clay (<0.01 mm) and clay(<0.002 mm) contents, a highly significant negative correlation with the volume percentage of soil silt (0.002-0.05 mm) and sand(>0.05 mm) contents, in which there was lower correlation with the volume percentage of soil silt (0.002-0.05 mm). In addition, the contents of soil organic carbon, soil total nitrogen and the fixed ammonium had highly significant positive correlations with the volume percentage of soil physical clay contents, but a highly significant negative correlation with the volume percentage of soil sand content.
