    Calculation of Presetting Angle in Torsion Bar Spring

    • 摘要: 圆截面扭转弹簧是轮式及履带式车辆悬架的主要承载元件之一,预先进行强扭转是提高其性能的关键工艺。文章在研究圆杆经强扭转后截面残余应力分布基础上,计算了实际工作应力下降所导致的寿命提高及强扭转造成的寿命损失,为选择强扭转的角度提供了理论依据。

       

      Abstract: Cylindrical torsion bar spring is principal loading component in spring suspention of wheeled and track-mounted vehicles.Presetting torque is the key process to raise its loading capability.In this paper,torsional residual stress distribution produced by presetting torsion angle were calculated. Although it is useful to raise endurance of torsion bar for reduction of actual service stresses,the presetting torque must cause considerable damage to material.Thus the calculation of optimum presetting torque angle is necessary.
